The Homepage Product Organizer for WooCommerce Launches

ABI Hosting announces the launch of its first plugin, the Homepage Product Organizer Plugin for WooCommerce. We recognized that there was no easy method provided within the WooCommerce eco-system to select and position products on the homepage of our clients’ websites. The Homepage Product Organizer Plugin provided us with the perfect solution and now it’s commercially available for developers to use in either our Lite Version or Pro Version.

WooPlugins.co is a new website designed and managed by ABI Hosting. We’ve been in the hosting business since 1998 back when Cold Fusion (what’s that???) was the language of the day! As the internet continues to grow in “dog years”, new software and innovations continue to emerge.

The WordPress platform is one of those quickly growing innovations. Originally started as a content management system (CMS) for bloggers, WordPress has evolved into becoming a very powerful, versatile platform for almost any type of website including e-commerce.

A huge international virtual community of developers has grown with many of them writing plugins to perform specific functions that integrate seamlessly into the WordPress software. Some plugins are offered for free, other plugins require a small fee.

The most popular plugin for using e-commerce on WordPress is WooCommerce. Based on the requirements of the e-commerce store owner, plugins specific to their needs have been written both by WooCommerce and other independent developers.

Here at ABI Hosting, our business has transitioned into now providing both hosting and web development. With the innovations in responsive theme technology, which detects the width of the website visitor’s display and optimizes the website for viewing (be it desktop, tablet or smartphone), the majority of the websites we develop today are being built exclusively using WordPress, with our ecommerce websites using the WooCommerce plugin.
